About Us

The Inlet Village overlooks this historic inlet that multiple fishing vessels and recreational boaters cruise through daily with style. Housing  12 distinctive shops with everything from a restaurant with an amazing raw bar, to jewelry and  a whole store filled with crazy socks there's something for everyone at the Inlet Village (even our furry  four legged companions).

The Inlet in Ocean city was cut during a major hurricane in 1933 . The inlet separated what is now Ocean City from Assateague Island. The Army Corps of Engineers and some determined locals sought to make Nature's development permanent and  finished forming the jetty. The inlet helped to establish Ocean City as an important Mid-Atlantic fishing port by offering easy access from the bay to the Atlantic tha now houses the White Marlin Open,  the world's largest bill fishing tournament.
